Extra Sherry Wood
Slane Extra Sherry Wood is the first release of Slane Wood Series, matured by Slane’s signature Triple Casked method, using Virgin Oak, Seasoned Tennessee Whiskey and Oloroso Sherry casks with an enhanced influence of Oloroso Sherry casks, deepening and intensifying the noted of dried dark fruits and baking spice, with hints of chocolate.
Crafted in Slane Distillery, under the creative direction of Distillery Manager and Master Distiller Dr Gearóid Cahill and his team, Slane Extra Sherry Wood has also been bottled at a robust 45% ABV in comparison to the Slane core blend at 40% ABV - helping to deepen and intensify the individual notes and aromas which have been introduced through the proportion of extra sherry casks used in this whiskey making process.
